In his complaint letter, Santosh´s father Kumar, who arrived in Kathmandu from Sankhuwasabha Saturday night, has accused the two main operators of Multiplex Foundation, Sancha Maya Sherpa and her daughter Mingma, of brutally beating up his 12 year old son to death.[break]
Mingma and her mother, however, have been asserting that Santosh committed suicide by hanging himself following a minor quarrel with his elder sister Jun Maya, who has also been staying in the same home.
Jun Maya has maintained that Sancha Maya beat up her brother to death accusing him of stealing her mobile SIM card. No arrest has been made in connection to the boy´s mysterious death as of Sunday, though.
The dead body of Santosh, an eighth grader at a local school, has been kept at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTU), Maharajgunj. The Boudha Police, which has been investigating into the boy´s death, say they can reach a conclusion only after the postmortem report is out.
Meanwhile, police on Sunday sent a formal letter to TUTH to conduct an autopsy of the dead body, which bears livid bruises. The postmortem was delayed as Santosh´s father took time to arrive in Kathmandu.
