Condemning the inhuman atrocities meted out to Ghana Shyam Mahato, the Samaj has demanded that the Pathak family ensure treatment of the victim and compensation to him.
A delegation led by lawmaker Deepak Karki met Mahato at the Kanti Bal Hospital where he is being treated, said a statement issued by the Samaj. It has also demanded rehabilitation of the minor into the society.
The Samaj has expressed fears that the perpetrator may not get justice because a member of the perpetrator is a police officer.
