According to the NA, the Indian Army Chief reiterated to resume military assistance to the Nepal Army, which has been in the pipeline for a long time.

“The Indian side was positive to provide an ALH Helicopter and necessary training to operate it,” reads the statement. CoAS Rana was accompanied by Charge D’Affairs at the Nepal embassy in New Delhi, Khaga Nath Adhikary in all meetings.
Similarly, the CoAS and his Indian counterpart Singh visited the ongoing Indo-Nepal Joint Group Training Consolidation Exercise in Pithoragadh on Monday. Leading a Nepalese delegation, CoAS Rana left for India on Sunday.
