"We were compelled to search legal remedy as the management took a decision to fire workers that have been working in the casino for the last 30 years," Mukunda Raj Kharel, assistant head cashier of cash department of the casino, told Republica.
The CWLPTC in the release has said that the casino management has dues worth Rs 93.4 million to pay to the workers in the form of monthly salary, allowance and provident fund, among others. The dues stand for the period when NRC managed the casino.
