Surya Bhakta Adhikari, manager of the showroom, said the showroom located at Pulchowk, Narayanghat has on display four different models of Canon cameras priced between Rs 8,500 and Rs 700,000. Besides, they can also buy genuine accessories and spare parts of Canon cameras. The showroom also provides after sales facility.
“We are getting positive response; we have already sold 12 cameras,” said Adhikari.
Agarwal said they decided to open a showroom in Chitwan, keeping in view the growing demand for Canon cameras and accessories there. “Demand from Chitwan had always remained high,” he added.
Primax International is also planning to provide training to customers for up to three days. “We are also planning to sell expensive cameras on installment basis. This will facilitate those who want to own a camera but do not have sufficient money,” Agarwal said, hoping that it would also help boost their sales.
Canon has 62 dealers and sub-dealers outside the valley. It has a sales network of 32 dealers in the valley.
