KATHMANDU, April 26: The  Business Advisory Committee (BAC) under Constituent Assembly (CA) on Thursday endorsed the Constitutional Committee (CC) decision to give political parties more time to carry on their negotiations for settlement of disputed issues of constitution writing.

A BAC meeting, held in CA building in New Banewshwor, made the endorsement and also fixed April 29 as a new date for the CA meeting. A day earlier, the CC, tasked with preparing an integrated draft of the new constitution, had decided to give two more days for parties to continue with their talks and resolve the issues. [break]

The CA meeting, earlier rescheduled for today, will now convene on Sunday at 1 pm. Disputed issues of constitution writing will be put to vote for settlement before CA full house if the parties fail to come up with consensus on the outstanding issues, now chiefly related to state restructuring and forms of governance.
