NIC Foundation supports renovation of pond
KATHMANDU: NIC foundation, a non-profit charitable organization established by NIC Bank, has provided financial support of Rs 50,000 for the renovation of pond in the premises of Kamaladi Ganesh Temple. The historical pond is being renovated by Shree Kamaladi Ganesh Jamami Guthi. Sashin Joshi, CEO of NIC Bank, handed over the support amount to Rabin Maharjan, chairman of the Pond Renovation Sub-committee, the bank said issuing a press statement on Tuesday.
NIC Foundation has been working for bringing about constructive changes in the society, focusing mainly in areas of health and education. It has been providing scholarships to disabled, orphans and girl children, organizing free health checkups, and supporting old age homes and orphanages.
