KATHMANDU, July 15: Bank of Kathmandu Ltd has opened two new branches at Balkhu and Panauti. Chairman of the bank Narendra Kumar Basnyat inaugurated both the branches amidst a function on Thursday.



With the addition of new branches, the bank now has a total of 36 branches and six counters including 40 ATMs throughout the country. [break]



“We have opened these two new branches to extend our reach to the rural areas,” chairman of the bank, Narendra Basnyat said. “The branch in Balkhu will provide service to people of Chobhar, Kirtipur, Dakshinkali and Panauti branch will to people from Khopasi, Banepa, Dhulikhel,” he added.





Lumbini Bank opens 4 new branches



KATHMANDU, July 15: Lumbini Bank Limited opened four new branches in Bardhaghat, Parasi, New Baneshwar and Gwarko.



According to a press statement issued by the bank, the bank will also open branches in Tanahun, Damuali and Managalbazar shortly.



With the addition of the branches, the bank now has 13 branches across the country.





Crystal Finance conducts general assembly



KATHMANDU, July 15: Crystal Finance Limited conducted its 8th general assembly in the capital on Thursday.



According to a press statement issued by the company, it also appointed Suman Bajracharya, Nutananda Baidya, Shivahari Poudel and Bhojendraman Maskey as its board members. The bank also approved its special proposal of raising its paid up capital to 157.5 million.
