Chairman of the Rastriya Janamorcha, Chitra Bahadur KC, said the country could not be run without a budget, but it was not suitable to bring the budget by a caretaker government neglecting the opposition parties at a time when there were no constitutional and elected bodies to present the budget and approve it.

KC said his party is completely against the budget as it would not give an outlet to the country.

Similarly, General Secretary of the CPN (ML), CP Mainali said that bringing budget in an unilateral manner shows that national and international conspiracies have increased and added that this activity of the government would obstruct forging of consensus among political parties.

Nepali Congress leader Tirtha Ram Dangol said the budget brought by the government on Tuesday has violated all the agreements reached so far since the signing of the 12-point agreement.

Likewise, CPN-UML leader Krishna Gopal Shrestha said that the budget, brought by the government with totalitarian thinking without forging political consensus, has pushed the country towards complexity.

The government brought the remaining two-thirds budget amounting to Rs. 365 billion on Tuesday.
