Gautam Baral, station manager of the airline in Pokhara, said the airline will fly three times a week on the route from September 27.[break]
“We are operating on the route to serve domestic as well as international tourists, including Indian pilgrims heading to Muktinath,” added Baral.
Buddha Air will deploy 18-seater Beechcraft 1990D on the route.
“We will operate 47-seater ATR-42 aircraft on the route if passenger flow increases,” Baral said, adding that the airline´s new flight will help increase number of Indian pilgrims to Muktinath.
The fare for the 15-minute flight has been fixed at Rs 2,650.
Baral said they have already accepting bookings on the new route.
Meanwhile, Buddha Air is also preparing to operate mountain flights from Pokhara itself.
