The assembly elected journalist Kumar Bibekananda Mishra as the vice chairman while journalist Bimal Gautam has been elected as the general secretary of the body. Journalist Dilli Acharya has been elected as the treasurer of the committee.
Similarly, journalists Madan Gautam, Sharada Pokharel, Dipendra Bista, Avima Uprety and Ram Bahadur Rawal have been elected as LRJF members.
By amending the statute, the assembly nominated journalist Chet Bahadur Singh as the patron while journalists Bal Krishana Basnet, Kiran Chapagain and Liladhar Updhyaya have been nominated as the advisors of the body. Except the chairman, all members were elected unanimously.
The body altogether has 22 members.
