KATHMANDU, Oct 5: The meeting of major three parties held to discuss blockade imposed by India and formation of a new government ended without entering into formal discussions.

UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal said the meeting of top-notch leaders only held minor discussion on the blockade.

The meet held at prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Monday morning was univocal that solution to the problem should be sought through diplomatic efforts, but failed to come up with a concrete plan.

“India failed to implement it decision on resuming border points. We discussed the matter, but couldn’t draw a conclusion,” he said.

Minister for Home Affairs Bamdev Gautam briefed the meeting that India’s statement that fuel tankers can’t be send to Nepal due to insecurity is not true.

He added that the situation of law and order is under the control of security bodies.
