The loss did not matter much for Baitadi as it also progressed into the last four as the group B runner-up with four points from four matches. Despite having equal points with Bhairawa, Baitadi had better net run rate.
Grasping total eight points from four matches, APF fixed its last four meeting against group A runner-up Region no 2 (Birgunj) while Baitadi locks horns with group A winner and defending champion Tribhuvan Army Club on Monday.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, APF posted a challenging target of 311 runs for the loss of all wickets in its allotted 50 overs with Dipendra Chaudhary and Prithu Baskota scoring half-century apiece.

Dipendra blasted 69 runs off 52 balls that included 11 fours. Facing 70 balls, Prithu contributed 53 runs on the back of six fours. Yogendra Karki bagged highest four wickets for Baitadi.
In reply, Baitadi could only score 67 runs, losing all of its wickets in 18.4 overs. Santosh Bhatt (18 runs off 35 balls) and Rabin Chand (16 off 10) were the only batsmen to contribute in double figures for Baitadi.
Yagyaman Kumal grasped four wickets for APF as Pradeep Airee took three.
