“Around 50 girls of the age group of 9 to 11 gathered from various schools around the Valley for the auditions,” informed the Director of JC community, JC Sampurna Ratna Tuladhar.[break]
Roshika Poudel, choreographer, President JC Manoj Kumar Shrestha, Chairperson JC Inu Thapa, General Legal Counselor JC Chandra Rave Shrestha and Executive Vice President JC Nitu Karki and Former President of JC group Sen Ratna Kaji Shrestha were seen judging the little ladies in the auditions.

The aspiring participants sang and danced for the judges and despite their young age some of the participants seemed to have learnt the art of diplomacy quite well and flaunted it while answering the judges’ questions. Most of these little ladies aspired to be doctors.
Yet another round of audition will be held on Saturday, June 9. As per the organizers around 24 to 36 participants will be shortlisted for the final competition. The rehearsals are set to kick off from Sunday, June 10.
Little Lady Pageant is said to be Nepal’s first beauty and talent competition as it started in 1980 while Miss Nepal, the most coveted beauty title in the country started in 1994.
