Nepal Army´s Public Relations Directorate in a press statement said on Monday that army medical teams have been deployed in the affected areas to control the outbreaks. [break]Nepal Army has organized Medical camps, Mobile Health camps and awareness programs in the affected areas.
The army said it distributed medicines and conducted health checkup of 260 affected people in Khirsain of Doti District and 91 affected people in Kalena VDC of the district. Nepal Army has also distributed Pius [water purification drops], Jeevan Jal, aqua tabs, and toilet soaps to the affected families.
The symptoms of Diarrhea were seen first at Kathmandu [in Doti] and Baglekh in June but later it spread to other areas, the army said.
