MYAGDI, Aug 25: Historically important weapons kept in Bhagawati Temple at Pulachaur VDC of Myagdi district have gone missing due to lack of protection.

Around 20 ancient weapons including swords, hatchets, shields, knives and others that were brought from Dolsthan palace, on the border between Pulachaur and Ghatan VDC, and stored in the temple after the unification of Nepal are missing, said a local, Ganesh Bahadur Hamal.

The weapons went missing when the committee formed for the protection of temples and other important property did not protect them, said a local youth, Prakash Paudel.
