6 families displaced due to landslide

TAPLEJUNG, Aug 4: Six families have been displaced and a school has been shut due to landslides caused by incessant rains in Taplejung district on Thursday morning.



The families of Santosh Gautam, Surendra Limbu, Ganesh Bhandari, Hari Mahat, Gyan Bahadur Bhandari and Gunanath Bhandari are taking shelter in a neighbor’s house due to the landslides. [break]



Likewise, the local Rastriya Secondary School has been shut after landslide boulders hit the school this morning.
