The fair will be held at Bhrikutimandap in the capital.
Speaking at a press briefing in the capital on Tuesday, coordinator of the event L B Baniya said they were targeting footfall of 50,000. [break]
“The estimated cost of the fair is Rs 750,000 and our major expenditure is on promotional side that includes hoarding and media advertisement,” he added.
The fair will feature various cultural activities, live handicraft stalls, information on tourist destinations, home-stay dorm and attractive tour packages.
Sarad Pradhan, media consultant of NTB, said the festival will have a total of 95 stalls of tourism related organizations, government agencies, NGOs, educational institutions and private sector entrepreneurs.
Besides, the festival will also have B2B session so that tourism entrepreneurs can explore possible business opportunity.
