According to a press statement issued by the German Embassy in Kathmandu on Tuesday, the amount comprises of 14.0 million euro in financial cooperation and 23.2 million euro for technical cooperation projects. [break]
“This brings the German Development Assistance for Nepal since the beginning of Nepal-German cooperation in 1961 to a total of EUR 1.099 billion,” the statement said.
The emphasis of German Development Cooperation in Nepal remains on inclusive development, poverty alleviation and support to the peace process.
