The new amendment, likely to be endorsed in Tuesday’s CA meeting, will enable the CA thematic committee’s draft, even with contentious issues, to the Constitutional Committee (CC) for preparing integrated draft of new constitution.
The leaders of three major political parties on Monday had agreed to make necessary amendments to the provision that allows the forwarding of a preliminary draft to the CC only after settling all disputes over the draft.
