Nineteen-year-old Suresh Bajagain splashed acid on them after an altercation ensued over the construction of a local road, during a group discussion at Bayarbot of Nayagaon-7 at around 11 am today, police said.
Of the injured, eight have been taken to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment, while the rest have been receiving medical attention at the Lalitpur-based B and B Hospital. Of them, three are in critical condition, police said.
Police have also taken the assailant under control. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
