According to the Mahakali Zonal Police Office, Bhimduttanagar, the police administration sacked three police personnel from Kanchanpur, four from Dadeldhura and five from Baitadi district in the fiscal year 2011/12 for abusing their authority to commit irregular activities.
Similarly, some 75 policemen in the zone were admonished for their irregularities, said Subhash Chandra Chaudhary, Senior Superintendent of Police at the Office.
In the previous fiscal year 2010/11, only two policemen were sacked and five cautioned, he said.
