KATHMANDU, June 24: A total of 10,845 electric vehicles worth Rs 25.55 billion were imported in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year.
The Department of Customs stated that various types of electric vehicles with capacities ranging from 50 kW to 201 kW were imported during this period.

During the same period, 3,680 electric vehicles with a capacity of 50 kW, worth Rs 5.65 billion, were imported.
Similarly, 6,357 electric vehicles ranging from 51 kW to 100 kW, worth Rs 16.497 billion, were imported, the Department added.
